Connecticut Luxury Homes for Sale: 98 Pear Tree Point Road

When thinking of real estate in Connecticut, one word that comes to mind is luxury. Walking around town, you’re never too far from a gorgeous home.

Although we’ve seen a dip in inventory nationwide in the 2023 real estate market, Connecticut has remained resilient as we enter the spring market. As a realtor in Connecticut, I know the importance of deciding what style of home is right for you, whether you’re a first time buyer or looking for an upgraded home.

A few desirable locations for high-end properties include Greenwich, Cos Cob, Westport, New Canaan, Bridgeport, and Darien, among many other amazing towns. Speaking of Darien, I have a fantastic new listing in the area!

A Look into Life in Darien, CT

With a population of around 21,000 people and a land area of just under 13 square miles, it’s actually the smallest town on Connecticut’s Gold Coast. But, don’t underestimate all that can be found in town!

Darien, CT, is full of amazing beaches, parks, historical sites, and so much more. It’s one of the best places to live in the state, so let’s take a quick virtual tour around town:

Spend the Sunny Days at Pear Tree Point Beach

At 98 Pear Tree Point Road, you’ll be a short five minute walk from Pear Tree Point Beach, which is arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in Fairfield County. Spanning approximately eight acres, the beach has a great view of the Goodwives River!

Make sure to get there early enough to snag one of the picnic spots or trademark white wooden chairs (free for visitors).

Spend the Weeknights at Darien Library

The Darien Library isn’t your typical library – it’s also a major cultural resource for the town.

An extensive collection of books, magazines, newspapers, journals, and more documents Darien’s culture and history… But, that’s just the beginning. It is one of the busiest libraries in Connecticut, namely because it hosts over 1,500 events annually!

Some notable activities include: Book discussions, author visits, art exhibitions, music performances, and storytime for the little ones.

Spend the Afternoon at Cherry Lawn Park

Cherry Lawn Park is one of the best places to spend an afternoon in Darien, CT, especially if you’re a fan of the outdoors. Some of the best spring activities can be done at the park, and there’s an option for everyone in the family:

  •  Play a game of softball, tennis, or basketball at the park’s sports facilities
